At Barnwood Education we don’t believe in learning objectives; instead, we start with what is fun and interesting. We ask what will encourage curiosity and make children wonder. This is our starting point for building learning opportunities. If we find ourselves going off on a tangent but we are still learning, we go with it. Because in life, a lot of what we learn we never knew we set out to discover!

We put, stories, the arts, and the natural world front and centre in all we do. We do not compartmentalise subjects but teach them alongside each other in project based tasks. We do this because we believe education should prepare you for life, a good life, and life doesn’t come at you arranged in neat subjects. This is teaching with heart and learning with purpose.
